Drug Offences Definitive Guideline
The Sentencing Council has this week (24/1/12) issued a definitive guideline for drug offences which reinforces current sentencing practice. It covers the following offences: importation, supply, production, permitting premises to be used, and possession. The guideline is effective from 27/2/12. The guideline has been published for both the magistrates court and the crown court.
